We are currently looking for a Site Team Lead to run our Awatere Viticulture team who are responsible for planning and implementing day to day activities across our Triplebank/Awatere vineyard sites.
This is a full time, permanent position located in our Marlborough vineyards.

This role is responsible for the direct management and leadership of vineyard staff. General duties of this role include:
- Oversees and coordinate the day to day activities of the vineyard team and machine staff on site.
- Vineyard Development activities, including land preparation, planting, trellis and irrigation installation.
- Identify training and development needs of staff
- Carry out day to day machine operations
You will add value to the team through:

- Actively participate in improving operational effectiveness
- Brining your own unique personality and values to the team

The preferred candidate will have:
- Qualifications in either Viticulture or Horticulture preferred
- Vineyard experience
- Ability to work additional hours from time to time, particularly during the Vintage period.
- High standards of work, flexibility, and ability to build strong relationships
- Drivers Licence
- Sense of humour
- Proven ability to coach and mentor staff
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with IT/Computer skills
